Town Hall Meetings

What substances are youth, ages 12-20, in Cape Girardeau County using?

Where are these youth accessing their cigarettes, alcohol and other drugs?

The SEMO Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition is sponsoring four Town Hall Meetings in November to inform Cape Girardeau County residents of the results of the recently completed Youth Access Survey. Plan to attend one of these meetings to learn more about youth substance use and what you can do about it:

  • Cape Public Library – Monday, November 15 at 6pm
  • Oak Ridge High School Cafeteria – Tuesday, November 16 at 6pm
  • Delta High School Cafeteria – Tuesday, November 23 at 6pm
  • Jackson Middle School Library – Monday, November 29 at 6pm

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME to join our efforts.  The next Coalition meeting will be Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 10:30am here at the Kasten Community Development Center, 937 Broadway, Suite 102.  Please join us at the meeting or give me a call for more information at (573) 651-3747 x 104.
