This conference is FREE and for anyone who interacts with youth – childcare providers, parents, grandparents, foster parents and other people who care about youth.

Our key note speaker is Carol McCloud, aka the “Bucket Lady”.  Carol is a teacher, counselor, youth mentor, early education director, and author of several “bucket-filling” books for adults and children.

Carol will be speaking on Friday at 3:15pm on “How to Keep your Bucket Filled” and on Saturday at 9:00am on “Creating a Bucket Filling School”.

In addition, five sessions of the Building Strong Families Curriculum will be offered for participants interested in earning CEU’s (continuing education credits).  A fee of $10 can be paid at the door.  Here are the offerings:

  • Kids and Self Eteem – Friday, 3:15pm; Janice Jones, United Way, Success by 6
  • Positive Discipline – Friday, 6:30pm; Amy McDonald, Educare

  • Managing Stress – Saturday, 2:45pm; Ann Hall, Educare
