Since April 2004 the Community Caring Council
has partnered with Missouri Housing Trust Fund to help individuals
with a one-time
rental
deposit and/or a one-time utility deposit. The program will grant
a maximum $300 for rental deposits.
Am I Eligible?
Your rent cannot exceed 30% of your total income. For example,
if your monthly rent is $300 then you will be required to have
a monthly income of $1000.
All income from each member of the household must be on the application. All income must be documented. This income includes:
- Food stamps
- TANF
- Unemployment
- Social Security
- Child Support Received
- SSI
- Disability
- Section 8 Housing
- Other acceptable forms of income
How Does it Work?
If you are interested in this program you must contact Roy Jones
at 651-3747 ext. 105 or Laura Baugh at 651- 8630 to set
up an appointment. This program does not accept walk-ins and
you must have an appointment to meet with these individuals.
What Do I Need for my Scheduled Appointment?
Driver’s
license or picture identification
Social Security Card
Most recent paycheck stub (if you’re
employed)
Documentation from other sources of income. Please bring
verification of all of the following that apply to you:
- Food stamps
- TANF
- Unemployment
- Social Security
- Child Support Received
- SSI
- Disability
- Section 8 Housing
