This is a 30-page booklet written by the Southeast Missouri Youth Substance Abuse Coalition in August 2005. Topics include local statistics and real life stories of local youth. Chapters include specific suggestions for interaction with youth for prevention, intervention and treatment. Seven community sectors are highlighted in the chapters: Parents, Child Care Providers, Educators, Youth Group Leaders, Coaches, Employee Supervisors and Agency Personnel. The Senior Safety Committee is selling disaster buckets for $50 and Weather Alert radios for $40 at the American Red Cross, 2430 Myra Dr, Cape Girardeau.
